Palm Sunday Procession 1.4.2012

Palm Sunday Procession from St Luke's Stubshaw Cross to St Thomas's Ashton.

Procession will start at 2.00pm and leading the way will be a small pony ridden by a 'Jesus'.

Procession is a re-enactment of Palm Sunday Triumphal Entry to Jerusalem the week before the crucifiction.

All welcome to join in or watch.

i didn't know that this type of thing still went on in the uk today! I will have to have one for my imaginary friend dave!
