Thanks...

... to whoever placed the old chair cushions to form "stepping stones" across the stream at the Edge Green Lane end of Edge Green Common. Not that I condone fly-tipping (which this undoubtedly is) - but you've made my occasional expeditions to Golborne Asda via Ashton Heath and the Common so much easier :)

... also to Jean and Ken Barston for their excellent guided Heritage Trail and Country Walk last week. Second Tuesday in the month (but NOT April 2012); meet St Luke's Church Car Park (cnr Bolton Rd/Golborne Rd) at 1.45pm for 2pm start. Give it a try!
