Is there anywhere to buy fish (to cook) in Ashton centre? I know there's a couple of butchers, but I can't think of where I might get hold of some salmon, etc. Perhaps the Co-op is best? The market is no use really, as it's only there on certain days. Please advise! :)

Tesco, in Haydock, is your best bet for fish. We go regularly, it's only local and there's an Iceland and Aldi across the road.

Hi, at the open market in Ashton on a tuesday and a saturday, there are usually one or two vans with fresh fish and other seafood.
Not a huge selection but at least it is usually fresh.
