I have a received parking fine notice for the Gerard Centre car park from a company in Nottingham that says I overstayed the time limit.Which I did not I just visited the car park twice that day hours apart there signs do not say you can only visit the car park once a day.I have heard that a lot of people have had these notices when visiting this car park.it seems very unfair not to be able visit the shops more than once a day.Does anyone know who owns the car park and do they know what is happening.

The carpark has a security guard. i usualy see him at night but i think they have some sort of office situated round the back of somerfield but i dont know if their involved in the fines. try asking staff in somerfield or one of the other stores

Try writing to the company stating your case.
My Dad did so and they gave him his money back.

Seems that they can listen to reason.
It's just a pity they hand and out the fines and then ask questions later.

All is not lost..... give it a try!

I have written two letters and sent a e-mail but the company did not even reply to them it looks to me that it is just a money making scheme for whoever owns the car park .I don`t think I will be parking on there again.

I finaly got a reply from the company saying they had looked into my case said they would cancel the ticket had to phone them up to get my money back .I had to send a few letters to get through to them but got there in the end so it seems they do listen eventually.

Your persistence has paid off David. Seems that they do make mistakes but they do , eventually, admit to them.
