The Town Green Residents Association are working with Groundwork to create a community garden on the land on the corner of Bolton Road and Orchard Street in Ashton.

United Utilities have offered a donation to support the first phase of the project and we are looking for further funding to complete the gardens.

We will be holding a consultation event on Saturday 31st March at Captain’s Lane Youth and Community Centre.

There will a display of the proposals that have been put together and we invite your comments and suggestions.

Please come and join us from 12-3pm.

Copies of the plans will also be available at Ashton Library from Monday 2nd April.
