Tea Bags

Do round tea bags make a better tasting brew than square or pyramid bags????

Town: Ashton/Stubshaw Cross

Re: Tea Bags

I only use round tea bags, because these days I dont own a tea pot and the round ones fit in the cup better. However, I recently when away to Center Parcs and used square tea bags in a tea pot and it was defo better. However, I think it was more to do with making the tea in the pot rather than a mug.

Re: Tea Bags

I find that it's not the shape of the tea bag it's more to do with what’s in side the bag and how long you leave it to brew. I've tried lots of different teas on my travels and eventually you find one that you like. So it really is a case of "What ever tickles your fancy". My mother always said that, never did figure out what your fancy is??

Re: Tea Bags

Greetings
When one had afternoon tea at Reids in Madeira one was glad that one did not have tea bags in ones china tea pot.

ps and when you had a tea made in a mug in Platt Bridge a long time ago you had to grit you teeth so the tea leaves didn't go down yer gob.
