Re:

>> “METHINKS THOU DO’ST PROTEST TO MUCH” AND YOUR USE OF A NOME DE PLUME, MAKES ME WANDER IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE COUNCIL YOU WANT TO SEE FAIR PLAY ABOUT”

No, I have nothing to do with the Council. A pity that when someone expresses a contrary opinion you have to suggest that they have ulterior motives, and not accept that people may have views other than your own.

Re: Hypocrassy of the council

Hi Ray
Residents of Bryn road would think they were in Paradise.
No not Paradise Ray , HEAVEN.

Alan

PS when I moved into Bryn Road 39years and 14 days ago, our house faced a thirty foot + high slag heap.
We knew when we bought it, that it was there, what we didn't know was this monument to King Coal wuld be replaced by a moving, poluting monument to the materialistic society that is modern Britain.

Re: Hypocrisy of the council

If Fair Play really wants fair play then maybe he should ring council offices and be told as I have that :

" Even if 100% of the residents object , then the development can still be passed"

or such words as:

" We cannot tell you certain information because we are working in partnership with the developers thus making it commercially sensitive"

I am fully aware of the process that goes into planning applications, but cannot see why the council are putting money into researching it when it clearly contradicts the UDP.

Hi Mr/Mrs/Ms Fairplay

You will have no doubt noted that I agreed with several things you wrote. I also can see from the composition of your writing you are articulate. So I think you will appreciate that your use of a nome de plume, and your ommssion of where you come from, can well lead one to suspect an ulterior motive. Right or wrong.
