ASHTON HEATH

I have lived at Ashton Heath since September 2004. In that time I have come to the conclusion that the residents society seem to think they have sole rights as to what happens on the heath. The heath belongs to everyone, young and old. Maybe if they kept ALL residents informed of the societies movements they would gain more respect.

Re: ASHTON HEATH

Janet, there is a website detailing the Association's activities and offering contacts if you'd like to get involved: http://dmnw26769.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ahra/

You had to go past a link to that site to get to this message board, so it's hardly a secret.

Re: ASHTON HEATH

Membership of the Ashton Heath Residents' Association is open to all local residents, and costs £1 per year.

Sorry to see that you didn't pursue your intention to join the residents' association.
