Ashton Linen and Woollen Stock Charity

At Monday night's meeting of the coucil's Overview and Scrutiny Committee, the decision of the council's cabinet to support the charity's severing of its links with the council was rejected. The committee voted unanimously to refer the decision to a full council meeting, rather than back to the cabinet.
