We are pleased to inform everyone that following ongoing discussions with traffic engineers, and a meeting between Ashton ward councillors and Peter Taylor, WMBC Director of Engineering, that additional parking/waiting restrictions are to be implemented on Golborne road, close to St. Wilfred's School, and opposite Tesco Express on Bolton Road, to reduce traffic hazards.

Additional improvements to road safety at both these locations are currently under discussion, and we will keep everyone informed of any further success that we have in improving safety at both these dangerous locations.
