A thought suddenly occurred to me, who is the weakest link on Wigan Council's controlling Labour Group?

After pondering this difficult question for five seconds or so it hit me like a thunderbolt.

Who supported the illegal war against the people of Iraq?

Who never does any surgeries and leaves his ward colleagues to do all the donkey work?

Who doesn’t even live in the ward?

Who, in spite of all the publicity and his high profile, was humiliated into third place by his newcomer ward colleagues and only got the two year term?

Who presided over the loss of thirty New Labour Council seats in just two years?

Who presided over the reduction of New Labour’s mandate to run Wigan Council from 12% of the electorate to just 7.3% in two years.

Who, even if he gets the boot from Wigan Council next year, will still find himself in the House of Lords and on countless other New Labour quango’s?
