Political Interference

After discovering what appears to be a good and informative web site www.aimi.org.uk I am amazed at the level of political interference from what can only be described as a group of mad cap councilors who are having a "dummy spitting out session".

I have read all the articles on the six linked sites and cannot find anything that normal people would consider to be a bent to any political party or anything that is politically motivated mischief, the only exception to this are the remarks made by some councilors and one in particular.

As an example I have read notices with ref to Ashton Heath (no I don’t live there). The notices posted on the web site seem to be factual and backed up by the comments of local residents, there doesn't seem to be anything from disgruntled local residents re Ashton Heath. The only comments I can find that are political are the ones from the CAP Councilors, these comments can only be described as child like and negative, if this is the sort of language and attitude of this party then god help us if they ever get into power locally or nationally. However, I don't believe we will see them around for much longer as most people and political parties with attitude only have brief moment in the spot light.

The best and most successful way to win peoples trust is to listen to whatever they say, offer sound and constructive advice and practical help when required, negative comments and attitude alienates people and makes them turn away. Thank goodness we have volunteers both locally and nationally because they contribute positively to the community.

Hope the web site soon returns to normal, keep up the good work.

And if you want to see unequivocal evidence backing up the growing view that Peter Franzen is not suitable to be a Parliamentary candidate, just read his postings on this site!

Re: Re: Re: Political Interference

COULD IT BE THAT VIC AND JAMES PREFER TO KEEP THIS WEBSITE AS A MOUTHPIECE FOR THE LABOUR PARTY?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Political Interference

I think the point is, Peter, that conducting a campaign that is so negative rather than standing on your policies turns off the electorate. For example, that comparison to Nazi Germany cost you my vote instantly.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Political Interference

Couldn’t agree more Andy, as I stated in my original posting the only political ranting on this web site is from Peter Franzen who seems to disagree with everything and everyone who doesn’t rant and rave like him. I’m a floating voter, who’s not affiliated to any political party, and one thing is for certain; I will not be voting for this man.

An MP or a councillor needs to listen, learn and respect other people’s views, they must understand that there will always be some who don’t subscribe to their policies and views, and they must also be strong enough to make unpopular decisions and stand by them. This will earn them the respect of the majority.
