Bolton Road

Anyone heard?

We are apparently having a new Tesco Extra mini market in place of the scruffy old Caledonian Service Station, a McDonalds drive thru on the field in-between it and Orchard Street, and the old JJ's car wash is being turned into a car entertainment workshop, complete with new building/showroom etc.

Things may be looking up at last!!

24 years I lived in Ashton and wanted a McD's and the month I move down to London they finaly say that there is going to be one built. Typical!!!

dont know about any of the other stuff but the field can't be built on as there is underground reservoir's there.

atleast thats what i was told by councel workers when thay were doing the road last year.

There used to be houses there before on the left going into Orchard street funnily enough one was called Reservoir street
