Higher Gennel

Has anyone heard of Higher Gennel? My Great Great Grandfather, Thomas Abrams, died in a pit accident at Pewfall Colliery in Dec. 1862, and was buried at St Thomas. At the time, he was living on Higher Gennel. I've found Middle Gennel on an old map, and it appears to be what my family refers to as "Squeeze Belly Entry" between Garard St. and A Court. However, I've never been able to locate Higher Gennel. Any information would be appreciated.
