Further to my last posting. My randmother was born in a place called "Backend Farm" does anyone know anything about it.
Is it still there? Was it actually a farm?
Would appreciate any information

Really appreciate it.
I'm afraid that i seem to have come to a full stop in tacing my Grandmother's family. I would have thought there might be some decendants still there, she had about 7 brothers and sisters, but have tried with no luck. Would be interesting to make contact one day, I know the rest of us here, descendants of the 2 sisters that emmigrated would be facinated.
