Hi Martin,
I'm using the Gsl Scenery Editor.
since i'm reducing the amount of objects in my Madrid scenery to make it more frame rate friendly it comes to me a doubt: i've eliminated a lot of gsl objects, but, when i click on the properties of the cfs2.gsl file the "weight" of such file remains the same, that is with no decreases compared to the original ( the file weight before the reductions).
So the question is: since i don't use layouts, but i save directly to the cfs2.gsl file, is it possible that the erased objects, although not visualized, are still loaded in memory?
Thanks and regards
I haven`t used the built-in gsl editor but my guess is that you can`t use it to remove stuff only add it.
In fact I don`t know what happens if you repeatedly add the same set of objects - it might put several copies of the same object inthe same spot
Either you will need to go back to a default copy of the gsl and just add the bits you want or you will need to request my gsl editing kit which will let you addand remove what you want
Martin,
can you send me your latest gsl construction kit?
i've your previous version of it and the function extract to MB layout doesn't manage too dense layouts.
Thanks
