Kiekhaefer used various Mercury parts in making
Wizards...go to the Mercury Wizard Comparison Chart
on this site (Tech Info) and see if you can figure out which Mercury Model has the same type lower unit if possible...that will widen the possible pool of
parts donor motors and hopefully lead you to the
parts to repair your Wizard. It takes a bit of persistance and luck to restore an old outboard.
Knowing which brands and models use the same
part that you need will enable you to ignore the
wrong and zero in on the right.Do check things
out before you buy. No gain in getting a parts
motor with the same problem.
Some parts are easier to come by than others...you
find out when you go looking which are which.
