I have an old Wizard Super 5 that I believe is a 56 that i would like to get rid of. It was my plan to rebuild it but I don't have the time or know how. Right know it is in pieces in my garage. I took it apart to clean and replace the impeller, but got sidetracked on putting it back together and know I have no idea how to put it back together. If someone wants it just make me an offer. If you need pictures or other information just email me at henry@devilsriverlamb.com
KF5/Mark5 series are several orders of magnitude more
difficult to work on than the preceeding early K Models. Not an ideal first Mercury to work on.
Often found at swap meets with missing
gear cases because seller has removed to repair
another motor in better shape...stripped motor...
sometimes an opportunity if parts remaining are
of use to you and price is right...
Parts Manuals on NY chapter site may assist in
reassembly of this one.
Not everyone's cup of tea...if you have worked on one
before and you are still game go ahead.
