i have a wizard outboard i have only 1 problem with it .there is no water pumping out of outside water tube i put a new impellar in where could the blockage be. i have the block cover off there was some sand in the water jacket of the block. i havent put a water hose on the water tube yet. would you put the block cover back on before you put water to the tube? iwould like to get this motor going and put it on my 14 foot aluminum boat.i got the motor from a nice friend.i like working on old motors i cant figure this one out. thanks larry

The tube is NOT a water discharge tube but rather a fuel tube that allows excessive fuel mixture to drain off from the lower bearing area which builds up while idling a lot. Water discharge is about 1/2 way down the tower where it swivels & on the immeadiate back side.
