Just purchased two WG4 wizards at an incredible price. The serial numbers are 508797 and 733013. First question is are these 5 or 6 horsepower. Second question where is the waterpump and how is it accessed. I have one running but water pump seams weak. I have a third motor on its way so my goal is to make two good from the three. Thanks.
Your motors are 6hp enignes. The powerhead is very silimar to a KD-4 Mercury engine as all Wizards up to 1957 except the 1957 15hp engine were made by Mercury Marine.
The water pump is located on the prop shaft behind the propeller. I forget exactly how to get into the water pump without looking at mine. I try and look tomorrow.
