Have you tried Kay David? She writes for Superromance but she has an awesome Assassins series that's packed full of action. If you enjoyed Cindy's books, you might like Kay's as well.

Another author I love in terms of action and suspense is Annie Solomon. Spine-tingling. She never lets me down.

Karen Rose is also awesome in the romantic suspsense thriller category. The romance is secondary but her books are totally awesome!
