I'm amazed at how much you were able to find wrong in only three sample pages, shown out of sequence. I'll wait to judge Dubay's story when I'm able to read the whole thing. And seeing Infantino, one of the legends of comic book art, doing Blackhawk ought to be enough to satisfy anyone.
Personally, I would be very pleased to see Blackhawk brought back as long as the revival is true to the things in the original that we old fans cherish. What does "push it forward" mean? Forcing the Blackhawks into the modern era to make them acceptable to current tastes is not necessarily a good thing. Howard Chaykin did exactly that. His revisionist Blackhawk was successful among the critics and the young fans unfamiliar with the original Blackhawk, but the older fans knew Chaykin's was not the "real" Blackhawk. No thanks, I don't need the Blackhawks to be pushed forward.

Sorry, but I didn't think much of what I saw of the proposed Infantino/Dubay Blackhawk Miniseries. Please note the Bat-Man like omen-appearing hawk. And even Evanier got most of the German right.
The time has come, not to bring Blackhawk back, but to push him forward.
