BREW and SMITH Rockingham, Virginia

Seeking information on Milly (Millie) BREW who married Samuel SMITH 17 May 1821 in Rockingham, Virginia. I have no other information on Millie. Samuel Smith was born 26 May 1799 in Rockingham or Rockbridge, VA. His father was George SMITH. Children of Samuel and Millie that I am aware of are: Edith (married Thomas OSBORN), Joseph, George Henry (married Catherine OSBORN) - my great grandparents, Maria Jane (married Philemond TOWNSEND), and Mordecai (married Phoebe OSBORN).

Thanks for any information concerning Millie and her family.

Re: BREW and SMITH Rockingham, Virginia

From 1850, 1860, and 1870 Census records I see Thomas Brue or Brew listed with several family members. All are in Rockingham Conty Virginia.

1860 has Thomas Brew 69, Annie 49, and Polly Smith 55. Polly might be nicknamne for Mary

Also with him are John Berry 33 and wife Martha 33 who was apparently Martha Smith before the marriage. John and Martha Berry have children Thomas L Berry 6, David Berry 4, and Samuel Berry 2.

The Rootsweb Berry mailing list or message board describes John and Marth Berry in Miami County Ohio in 1880 Census. They have other children as well at that time.
