I'm new to this forum, or rather, this is the first time I've posted a thread to the BB. I'm just curious if anyone knows how Petru Dimas braids the bodies of his flies. I've tried a couple of different techniques from my limited store of knowledge. Tried the old Boy Scout round braiding and also a technique I found in a book on knot tying called sennit work. It all looked like, well..., not very good, although the 8 strand sennit plaiting may be getting close to the idea. Any ideas, tips or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
