I'm looking for someone in Western WA, preferably near the Tacoma area who would be a "mentor" to me in tying featherwings. Been having a terrible time, and you don't find classes tying these classics. Can tie up hairwings and most other patterns. But want to make the more complicated ones that I know take quite awhile to tie. I'm better hands on learning. Would trade float trips on a river for instruction. Any help would be appreciated. Would prefer to stay away from classes, but if that's the way it has to be then so be it.

Thanks
