I’ve been seriously considering getting one of those Japanese import cars lately. I’ve seen so many people talk about their reliability, unique features, and how well they’re maintained in Japan. Some of the models you can’t even find locally, which makes the idea even more tempting.

But I’m also a bit unsure about the whole process things like import regulations, insurance, and finding genuine parts if something goes wrong. I’ve heard mixed reviews about how easy or hard it can be to get them registered, depending on where you live.

So, I’m curious has anyone here actually imported a car from Japan before? Was it worth the effort and cost? How was the condition compared to what was advertised? And would you recommend going through an importer or handling it directly yourself?
