Slipping tuning drive.

I would appreciate some expert advice. I use a WS19 set regularly on the HF end of the 160m band. I have attached a small reduction gear externally to the tuning drive for ease of listening to SSB signals, though my qsos are with local operators on am. Although the left hand aerial tuning scale is labelled WS MK lll there was no reduction drive on the right hand tuning drive which I thought was a feature of the MK lll. I know that the identification plate at the bottom of the fascia (labelled MK 111) is not original. The tuning drive mechanism regularly slips just below 2MHz, but nowhere else on the dial. Is there a simple fix for this?

Do you own a serviceable 19 Set? Yes.
