Bad IF cans

So, longtime readers of my repeated plaintive messages here will recall that I have a barn find No. 19 set. I now have built an AC supply for it, replaced all paper capacitors, replaced the audio output transformer on the A set (which had an open primary), filled it with tubes, and replaced the meter.

It's now at the point where there no signals are received, but a 465 kc signal
injected into the antenna input gives a nice clean whistle. Inspection shows the local oscillator isn't running.

A little more poking with the ohmmeter shows that the IF transformer coming off
the mixer stage, L8A, has an open primary.

So... any suggestions? Is it possible to rewind these without too much work,
or replace them with a modern Toko coil hidden inside that can, or does someone
have a radio in even worse shape with good IF cans who might be up for some trading?
