Hello

I just picked up a No 19 Mk III that has been apparently in a basement for the last 30+ yrs. Based on the amount of dust and cobwebs I believe that claim. I was told that the owner passed away a long time ago so I was unable to get additional details or find the missing parts.

It was rigged up with a plug and power switch connected to a homemade power converter/transformer so I'm guessing the previous owner was a ham radio operator. I'm guessing the power supply weighs at least 30 lbs. Its crude but neat with the vacuum tubes.

Personally I wanted it as part of my Militaria display so I'm more interested in having it look the part vs using it. But if it works or can be made operational that would be a nice bonus.

As such I have to track down a supply unit, dog bone and mic.

Now I'm still digging through all of the information on this site and I've read the radioactive issues. So I'll be carefully cleaning this unit outside.

So an tips on cleaning/general restoration of the unit would be appreciated and where could I find some parts? The QM Stores link doesn't seem to be in use and/or active.
