Hi All
I am inn the process of rebuilding a sad T250 and was wondering how hard is it to convert to 350 specs. I am thinking that the bottom ends are all the same just with different barrels, heads and pistons (plus carbies and larger exhast screw) is this all there is to it?
Hi Crasher, pretty much what you say plus the air box for the 350 has bigger holes through it, you will note the ones in the 250 are about 1/2 inch, the 350 are about 3/4 inch.
the 350 exhaust nuts are the same OSD as the 250 but the wall is thinner, the baffles are also different, they are the same as T500, the same and larger OSD all the way from the mount point, the 250 are a thinner baffle.
mine are all stuffed, look up Paul Miller Suzuki spares on the net.
BTW the only real difference you will gain by going to 350 is a better torque range, if your looking to get more top end it isn't worth it, maybe 5mph, that's about it.
