The steel fuel tank from my cafe project has superficial rust inside - what's the best way to treat this? Grateful for any advice.
If it is only minor I would leave it and fit a inline fuel filter to catch the bits as it comes off with use. You can buy about 10 fuel filters for about $10 off ebay, just search Pit Bike in the motorcycle parts section. You can remove minor rust with degreaser and small stones and shaking the tank about. I would not resort to a liner method unless the tank leaks. Chris
