I just purchased my "baby" last month. I am a first time owner of a pomeranian. I asked the breeder how much his parents weighed, they said the father was 3.5 lbs and the mom was 5.5 lbs. I just took my pom to the vet and they said he weighed 4.3 lbs and would grow to 9 lbs.!! Teddy was born on Aug.5th 2002 and the vet's appointment was on Oct. 25th..What should I do? I just love my bundle of fur and I don't care how much it weighs, but I was expecting him to grow to only 5 lbs. max! Could the vet be wrong and should I contact the breeder? Is this normal?
