WHat is the proper amount of food that an 8 week old, 1 1/2 pound pom puppy should be eating. I'm feeding her dry food (CHicken soup for the puppy lovers soul) with plain yogurt mixed in to soften it. I feed her 4 times/daily and then leave dry food only in her bowl during the day. She seems to eat about 20 kibbles at a feeding and maybe nibbles on some in between meals, making a total daily amount of barely 1/8 cup.

Maybe if you changed the diet to give more variety your Pomeranian may eat a littel bit more. I generally give about 2 tablespoons a feed , but if they eat all that amount , I add more food unless they are obese. A POmeranian puppy seems to be so active that they dont have weight worries.
