Re: UK Rail Fares: A word of caution for oversees (and possibly UK) Challengers

Well I've beat the lot of you: I'm getting from London to Glasgow for £9. Ok, it's on the bus and it's overnight, but still £9 !!!!!!!

Re: UK Rail Fares: A word of caution for oversees (and possibly UK) Challengers

Thanks for the reminder!
Split ticket saved me £92.50!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: UK Rail Fares: A word of caution for oversees (and possibly UK) Challengers

Looking forward to seeing many of you on the chuchu train from gla to Mallaig! I got an old fogies fare for me and an eagle fare for my Liam advance for £36. That senior rail card is good value.

If you are new to split ticketing try https://raileasy.trainsplit.com. they will do it for you but take 10% of the saving.
