Rannoch Moor Crossing.

Hi
My route is going to take me across Rannoch Moor to Rannoch Station on Sunday and Monday. I was wondering if I would be on my own, or will there be many others on the same route. I don't see much mention of Rannoch moor on the various blogs although there have been a few over the years.

Assuming your route is from Kingshouse via Black Corries Lodge then you are unlikely to be the only one. However you may not see anyone else due to the low cloud and driving rain, I've been across several times and never seen a soul!

I went that way in 2016 (on the Tuesday) and I didn't see a soul ..... but I did enjoy a rather fine toasted muffin and pot of tea at the Rannoch Station tearoom. Well worth a visit.

Vicky and I are going that way as well. we will be staying at the Glencoe Ski area Hobbit Hut and then crossing Rannoch Moor to the Station Hotel the next night.

One of my life's ambitions is to walk through Glencoe and actually see something!
