Just a warning about pitching along the River Enrick. When I passed that way last year, much of the pasture was very unpleasant indeed, chewed up and pitted due to earlier use by cattle. They may not be there in May but if there's been any cattle grazing in the spring, the ground takes an age to recover.

That confirms what I was wondering while perusing the aerials and other info - wasn't sure if that would be a good area. I am also looking at an area near the woods along the Allt Glac na Doimhne...may have to reroute a bit if that area is bad too. Happy Hogmanay!
