Where are the natural gathering points on the Challenge?

I did the challenge for the first time last year and loved it. What I enjoyed most was coming across groups of people at unusual places, locations where people naturally converge and where the atmosphere is fantastic. I thought it would be a good idea to list some of them here to help first time challengers who need a bit of a pointer in the right direction.

Cougie - The first Saturday night of the challenge, although Sunday night had a few of us in as well
Braemar - 2nd Saturday of the challenge
Tarfside - 2nd Monday I was there it was buzzing

Any others?
