Alternatively you could just arrange to backpack a section of one of the trade routes for a couple of days - at the 'right' time of course.

Thanks for the suggestions but I've already been asked to Assess some DofE (Duke of Edinburgh Award) Expeditions and Diane (wife) is mumbling something about getting a new kitchen as I now wont be spending all the money on new kit.
