A pity you do not have captions, for many places I do not recognize.
It is possible to place captions though and not difficult. When you are logged in in Google Photos you can click on a picture and then you see in the right upper corner the sign "i" in a black circle. Click on that and a screen appears where you can write what you like.

I too would enjoy it if you are able to use Hein's input on captions . I know that Ptarmigan are curious and it is possible to approach closely but your shot shows patience which is difficult when on the challenge , enjoyed it thanks .

Cheers mate, i will have a look? Heard you all went up to the shooting cabin the other week, i remember that time we all had a good old giggle some 20 years ago!! We will have to get a another expedition in soon pete said im barred from fire lighting and only allowed to gather fire wood . Good to hear from you mate and hopefully i will be on next years challenge just not told the mrs yet...
