Over on ye olde Usenet (uk.rec.walking) someone has a query about the wire bridge near Steall Falls - Glen Nevis. It didn't show on the newest 1:25k but does on the 1:50. I know a wire had broken a week after my last visit but thought it had been repaired a while ago. How's the current situation ?

Years ago, maybe 6 or 7, I came upon that bridge you mentioned. I then had to make the difficult decision to use this interesting bridge or to wade through the river. I decided to do the wading, because the water was .......just ankle deep! Maybe you are so lucky when you are there!
I hope to meet you somewhere on this years crossing, or in Montrose!
