-What Am I-

Through a mirage of mirrors
That are the essence
Of who I am,

I scurry through the everglades
To the abyss of my pain and joy.

But, no matter what time of day or night
I create a new path of knowledge
That shall be my destiny

What am I?
The soul of a woman,
Simple and pure.
