Whilst following the progress and performances of players attempting to qualify for the "Open" via the regional qualifying events on the R&A website, I noticed that there were several DQ's, there were five DQ's at one venue alone. Our club pro stated that he knew of some players who were DQ'd because of breaches of the "one ball" condition which was in operation for the regional qualifying events. Do any forum contributers know how often the "one ball" condition is used, and at which competitions?
