Time to get to work

HEY FELLAS,
WELL OUR SPRING SEASON TURKEY HAS CAME AND WENT. THE TURKEY HUNTING HERE IN ARKANSAS HAS BEEN TOUGH THROUGHOUT THE STATE FOR THE PAST FEW SEASONS. MOSTLY DUE TO THE EVER CHANGING WEATHER AND LATER SEASON DATES. I GUESS IT'S TIME TO GET THE TRACTORS AND 4-WHEELERS OUT TO START OUR PREPERATION FOR THE 2008-2009 WATERFOWL SEASON. I BELEIVE THAT A GREAT FOOD SELECTION WILL TRANSLATE TO GREAT MEMORIES MADE IT THE FEILD AND BLINDS COME NOVEMBER. WE WILL BE SPENDING THE NEXT FEW MONTHS DOING OUR PLOTS FOR DEER AND FEILDS FOR DUCKS AND GEESE.I USUALLY HAVE A BIT OF AN EARLIER START FOR THE DEER PLOTS, BUT IF YOU HAVE WATHCED MUCH OF THE WEATHER LATELY. WE BEEN HARD PRESSED JUST TO KEEP FROM FLOATING AWAY. I HOPE EVERYONE WHO HAD A CHANCE TO GET OUT AND CHASE THE LONGBEARDS THIS SPRING, WAS ABLE TO ENJOY THEIR OUTINGS. BESIDES YOUR OUTDOORS HOW BAD COULD IT POSSIBLY BE!!! HAVE A GREAT SUMMMER AND TAKE CARE!

Re: Time to get to work

2500 more acres between three farms west of Lake Anna. All in corn and should be cut the first week of September. Historically have proven to be steady with the canadas according to the farmers.

Got a call from our Smith Mountaon Lake land owner. 150 - 200 resident birds already staging in the field.

will check back in after the next scouting trip
