While I do find my self in agreement with what the peace tax movement is for, I do ask what the solution from your point of view may have been to the Nazis in the 30s and the lead up to WW2, for example? How do you stop a completely evil dictator and his brainwashed followers in full force? Ask them politely not to kill innocent members of their country (and others) whom don't fit their ideal...
I know my question sounds dumb because I realise that in the years leading up to any potential problem should be noticed, all factors considered and 'nipped in the bud' by other nations (to put it mildly) BUT what if that peaceful neoigatiation breaks down cos the dicators on a mission to destroy and consume?
We all try, and everything should be done to stop these wars peacefully, but what if someone has their finger on the button and a covert operation and a snipers bullet can stop it
