Message:   Let's get real, people. Face the truth, grow up and accept responsibility for our actions. I personally will not pay taxes for state sponsored terrorism, murder and mayhem, whether it be for acts of war or abortions. That's my position. It's not everyones. To me, the taking of human life is the taking of human life; no matter whose, how old, how convenient or otherwise, what colour of skin, race, nationality, denomination etc. We have allowed callousness and equivocation to creep into our culture with the result that we are behaving like fascists, and we don't even realise it. Anything now goes as long as we can justify it to ourselves. We are already well down the slippery slope to oblivion. Respect for life, all human life, is crucial to maintaining a humane and healthy society.
Slavery is not dead. It is alive and kicking in England and all over the world today. We are our government's wage slaves, obliged to pay taxes on our labour, and against our will, with no recourse as to how the money is spent. Seems like a clear cut definition of slavery straight out of the dictionary to me. As a nation we are all compromised now, because we permitted New Labour to be reelected, to our eternal shame. New Labour took us into an illegal and immoral war of aggression; (as did Hitler to the German people when he invaded Poland) they have stripped us of age old personal liberties and permitted immoral laws (as did Hitler ...when he meddled with the German constitution and classed as enemies of the state...Jews, ******* Gypsies, Epileptics or whatever...and permitted their elimination)and they have compromised the security of the nation and of the world with their insane foreign policies which include accepting intelligence extracted under torture for us by our less squeamish "Allies". (Hitler's thugs at least had the gall to do all that stuff for themselves but how soon before British police stations are equipped with electric shock apparatus as standard, as in Egypt? Or have things already progressed that far in certain locations and you and I are simply too naive to realise that the horse of fair play and abiding by such mini inconveniences as the Geneva Convention has already bolted?)
Bush, and to us, more importantly, Blair and Straw, are directly responsible for hundreds of thousands? of horrible deaths, too numerous for them to be bothered to count. Their Uzbekistani ally, Karimov, boils his innocent opponents alive and extracts intelligence for us with torture paid for with American dollars, and all in the name of "Security",(which translates as carte blanche for a vile dictator and a nice little earner with access to gas, oil and airbases for America, our democratic ally) This is the very same ally who encouraged us to steam into Iraq, apparently to prevent the naughty bad man Saddam Hossein from perpetrating these very same outrages, but in fact with the sole purpose of aquiring Iraqi oil too.
Not only are these things being done, but their true nature is being denied to the poor proles who are being forced to fund it all, and that evasiveness and equivocation is the worst crime of all. We have all been led astray by spin, and brainwashed into collusion with crimes against humanity. When we pay our taxes, we are all equally guilty of the offences that our taxes commit. Any person who finds this total deterioration of human values acceptable needs to have his head examined, never mind hold the positions of Prime Minister or Foreign Secretary of our previously great nation. Either our leaders are responsible for this morass, and they are the ones that should be hauled up into court to be answerable for their crimes against humanity under rule of international law, or else they are mad, and someone in the judiciary should do them the kindness of having them sectioned under the mental health act before they inflict any more damage upon the world.
I WILL NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THIS MURDER AND MAYHEM and so will end up my days impoverished...living below the tax level...my children deprived and with no hope for betterment until this Fascist Murderous New Labour paradigm is voted out and the Peace Tax Seven get what they, and others abroad in their own countries are in all decency, asking for. The British People are oblivious to the terrible realities of their present moral and ethical position. Shades of the Germany of the late thirties ride with us again. We are engaged in the demonisation of a section of the world community. Mosques are already being attacked here and innocent persons spat upon and worse. This is Nazi Germany all over again. We expect to bomb their brothers abroad mercilessly (and hideously expensively) with impunity, and then hypocritically cry "Shame and Surprise" at their kitchen sink responses. Blair was almost apoplectic this week...saying that "no one" had the right to bomb anyone. Could is possibly be that some no ones are no one, but that some no ones are more no one than other no ones? His megalomania and self righteousness presumably exempts him and his cronies from his own blanket command? He is in a state of total denial - away with the fairies. He has no idea how ludicrous, pathetic, dangerous and psychologically revealing his performance has become. Violence begets Violence, Mr King Canute's worth of a War Criminal, Blair. The radicalised Moslem Community worldwide will respond ever more stronger the more they feel threatened, and as for Palestine...well it's a smoking gun long overdue as we all very well know. The London bombings were wrong, but if you or I had had relatives...or children sleeping in Fallujah when the "Allies" carpeted the town with bombs, maybe we would right now also be feeling more than a trifle miffed to say the least, and spoling for a fight. Hurt one Moslem, and you hurt them all. That is how they feel. There is a sense of brotherhood at stake there that is worthy. If we and they could just take it to one level further we might all have a chance. Hurt any one of us and you hurt us all is the real truth of the matter. So we simply must stop hurting one another. Find a better way. But incriminating pictures of dead and mutilated innocents in Iraq, shown on the Internet world wide are now taking their toll in London. The retaliation was to be expected. A world wide acceptable paradigm for war as a solution to differences surely gives them as much right to respond to atrocities as we have. Mr Bush suffers from the WASP man's burden, (or the white man's privilege) of not being able to feel empathy for any members of the human race who have darker skins, a different mind set and values, and who live precariously, but nevertheless inconveniently, perched over valuable oil and gas reserves. I do not believe that he actually realises that they are as human as he is, and equally susceptible to feelings of outrage and revenge. They are merely acceptable collateral in his scramble to put all powerful and thus all important America at the top of the international ant heap. 7/11 was terrible and wrong, but the injustices that the perpetrators felt were not being addressed and that caused it, were wrong too...Bush was tactlessly riding rough shod over the whole world at the time like a headless chicken, with his "America comes first" mantra and ignoring all previously carefully negotiated diplomatic protocols. He has inflicted 7/11's in spades upon Iraq's innocent civilians. Do the dead there somehow count for less because they did not die in Manhattan? One state's self determination at the expense of other parts of the world is called Imperialism...Hitler was good at that too. It's not "delivering democracy"...(at the end of a gun)no matter what Bush and Blair like to call it. The war was and is about protecting our western way of life..and that means grabbing foreign turf and oil. Jack Straw admitted this on his soap box in Blackburn after his election victory. So we must call a spade a spade. Not obfuscate behind phoney sentiments. Not permit Bush and Blair to obfuscate. The war was for aqusition and motivated by greed. Full stop. If that is who we are and what we are about, let's have done with all the poppycock and just admit it. Bush's Reich intends to rule OK and we Brits are apparently happy to oblige. Blood was conveniently spilt for our ambitions. Quicker and simpler than pesky negotiation and humane diplomacy. Those that live by the sword die by the sword. We get exactly what we pay for and exactly what it says on the box. Violence escalates violence. Blair knew that the Iraq war would bring terror and death onto our streets. He is the accountant that juggled the figures, took the risk, and put our way of life, the precious peace, in jeopardy for such gain. Ironic isn't it? No amount of hardcore concrete bunkers will eliminate the enemy of hubris operating within his own psyche, or protect us poor suckers from the fallout. Did he really think that the "War" could only be fought one way, "Over there", on their third world turf? He took us to war. To war. War just doesn't conveniently stop when you choose to define a sell by date and say that you don't want to play the game anymore. The other party may have a different timetable and a more than ****** off agenda. Did he learn nothing from the decades of troubles with the IRA? He and Straw and Bush have brought calamity onto the streets of London, Baghdad and Fallujah. Or don't those last two towns count?
There is another way, but it requires moral courage and stamina to say "Whoops...maybe we were wrong...maybe we should try what has never been tried before". The world is changing. People don't want this infantile kneejerk response to crisis - war. All over the world there are initiatives to build Ministries for Peace, to change the the status quo and create a new paradigm for worldwide justice, respect and brotherhood. Keep at it Peace Tax Seven and Conscience. A handful of just and sane men and women is all that stands between humanity and this present world wide culture of moral turpitude and Thanatos. Lives, maybe as yet unborn, are depending on the truly enlightened and righteous few. The elimination of much poverty and suffering can be achieved. But we as a species will ultimately only get what we are prepared to pay for. Fortunately for the Arms Barons, weapons have a built in obsolescence factor which requires them to be utilised. In order to make more profits, room must be made for more products, and the market is so obligingly liquid. The great "communist threat2 that bankrupted the world in the 20th Century is now past its sell by date, and has stepped aside for a new arena of endeavour: the phoney war on terrorism. It's not phoney actually. It's very callously and calculatedly being hyped up in order to justify the expenditure...the erosions of liberty and justice...and the fat juicy profit margins. We must not become led astray. We must stop funding this insanity, for goodness' sake. Or else the lights really will go out, not only over Europe, but the whole world. August 6th is nearly upon us. 60 years on we must remember, and vow never again, not in any size, shape or form. We must stop these lunatics before they wipe us all out with their next "must have" generation of bunker bombs and cute little "mini" nukes. When one of those hits the streets of London, who will they be blaming then? The tooth Fairy? QED.
