This argument comes over as very undemocratic and selfish and I am so pleased they lost their court battle. I didn't vote for Tony Blair in the last election and in fact most leaders we have had in the UK have not been there by my vote and I have had to put up with laws and taxes that I hated. We all pay into this kitty and I would rather an elected leader whether it be Blair, Thatcher, Howard, M Mouse or Bugs Bunny spend it than people like them. We are a Nation of people of mixed religions, races, ages and sexes. Who ever is elected by the UK electorate as PM we should all stand by and support him or her as they represent all of us and need our support in times of crisis. |
