What a silly argument to think you should be able to opt out of your taxes being spent on certain areas. Should people with private medical insurance be able to opt out of paying into the NHS? Or people who dont benefit be able to opt out of paying for the benefits system?
At the end of the day the elected Government is entitled to make a budget which it believes is in the best interest of the country. If you dont like it vote to chnage the Government. Then your consciences should be clear because you know you didnt support that budget but you have to accept the will of the majority and the majority support spending on our exceptional armed forces. |
