But isn't the point supposed to be that in the long term, if we take this stand and request for our taxes to go to other purposes (not defence) than good people like yourself wouldn't have to lay your lives on the line? That there would be no need for military expenditure? I believe it is possible to live in a peaceful world. This stand protects you against risking your life in the smallframe mentality that war is the only answer. |
