The Closure of the Comfortable Pew
I WAS SHOCKED TO LEARN THAT THE COMFORTABLE PEW HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY CLOSED. WHY? SURELY, THE RESIGNATION OF ONE PERSON WOULD NOT BRING THIS EVER GROWING AND IMPORTANT PART OF OUR CHURCH TO A STAND STILL. |

Hi Roger: The resignation of Bruce gave us an opportunity to revision the Pew mission. The re-visioning is being done by the Continuation Team and they are considering all aspects and ideas for the space. This will not be a quick solution - but the right solution. Please bear with us while we explore all of our options. As information becomes available - the Continuation Team intends on keeping the congregation informed. |

I thought the Comfortable Pew was a visionary approach to invite those interesed to 'come and see' what Centenary is about without throwing organised religiohn down their throats. I look forward to its return if it is a viable option for that space. |
