Nick has a gift for suspense, and he's back with a vengeance. I agree with Mortiz regarding Matt and Tim, but the spectre of Matt's infidelity is just one in a merry crop of nail-biters in TWW at the moment. What about Brian and Robb -- that little crud. I smell trouble for Brian there. Then there's Coach Jennings' after-class workouts for the boys; Jake playing Russian roulette with damn near every life he touches; sweet, vulnerable little Mike lookin' for love; and Dennis waiting to make his big entrance. Suspense to the left, drama to the right ... I'm waiting for another live grenade to fly through the window. Maybe the return of Al Wagner as a genuinely repentant father who wants a chance to take care of his son the right way this time? Stranger things have happened ... Rock on Nick! |
